Danijela Herga

Danijela joined our lab as a Slovenian graduate student in March 2022, where she was working on a master’s thesis, focusing on the role of Klotho proteins and Cannabinoid receptors in the response of cell therapy to triple-negative breast cancer. Danijela graduated in October 2022 from Molecular and Functional Biology at the Biotechnical Faculty in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Currently, she is back in her country, working at the faculty of pharmacy as a researcher, where she is examining the biochemical interactions between muscle and bone to better understand osteosarcopenia.

Danijela finds joy and relaxation in the world of sports, particularly volleyball.
